OboeStuff Reed Blanks
OS Reed Blanks
are made from gouged & shaped cane that has been
tied to high quality
staples/tubes ( Pisoni 47mm brass deluxe oboe or
CA Bronze English Horn Staples).
The tip and back channels are then
scraped, relaxing the oval of the reed close
to the dimensions of a
finished reed. Reed blanks are also available
without the scrape.

OboeStuff Student Reeds
OS Student Reeds
are made from a 4 step wet & dry scraping process
that makes a stable and responsive reed. Reeds are available in student
finish or 85% finished for those students and teachers that prefer to
make final adjustment themselves. Please indicate your preference when

but is made on either the new Chudnow E or
Chudnow S cork-less staple.
The Chudnow
cork-less staples are noted for their superior response, consistent
