The Reeds 'N Stuff Pre-gouging Machine utilizes two blades. The first blade trims the cane from the sides and the second pre-gouges the cane to nearly finished dimensions so your gouging machine and your hands and arms have less to do. The pre-gouging machine is available for oboe or English Horn. Shim washers are included if you need to raise the blade/ cut for your particular gouging machine.
