The Reeds 'N Stuff shaping machine is the easiest, fastest and safest way to shape cane. Designed by Udo Heng and manufactured in Germany, the shaping machine is capable of shaping oboe, English Horn and oboe d'amore cane. Simply place the gouged cane over the shaperform, lower the self locking arm to hold the cane in place and use the two handles holding the blades to perfectly shape your cane. The cane is scored by a blade in the holder so all you have to do is soak the cane and fold it over. No "ears" to remove, just a perfectly shaped piece of cane. The shaping machine comes with your choice of ONE shaperform (see the Shaperform Chart) for either oboe, English Horn or oboe d'amore. Additional shaperforms may be purchased separately for $98.00 USD. You can use the shaperforms for oboe, English Horn and oboe d'amore in the same machine. If you would like a custom shaperform, simply send us your shape and we'll make a shaperform from your sample. For custom shaperforms add $185.00 USD per sample/ tip. The Reeds 'N Stuff shaping machine Case holds the shaping machine, spare blades and 10 shaperforms. It is available for $ 99.00.
