Metallic and Holographic Thread Shimmers add that extra sparkle to your
reeds.
Simply wrap the extra-fine shimmering thread over your reed thread between
the thread ridges, either candy stripe (every other thread ridge) or each thread
ridge for a completely metallic or 3-D appearance, then tie it off like you would
the regular reed thread. Your dull
uninteresting reed becomes the jewel of
your instrument. Don't miss this

or clear nail polish to protect the shimmers from damage. Metallic thread
